Love how the organutan like anatomy helps to base all your creativity and imagination in reality, when i look at it i see this creatures with strange curling mammoth like tusks and a monster like appearance but when i see the facial structure of an organutan i immediately think it must exist. great use of RL ref.
AWESOME! if im not mistaken I think i met u at GDC 2011. U were presenting prints of your portfolio and i asked to look at your work. I really like your style and how u mixed different things to get a result like with the lion and the pharoah.. i see alot of that in this creature... I believe the influences on this are orangutan and mammoth?
Hey everyone, thanks for the kind words! Hearing such positive things from my friends / the artistic community in general keeps me very motivated to keep taking the time to produce personal work! Thanks!
Ronnie: Thanks! Complimenting my design is -- in my opinion -- the highest praise I can receive.
Tom: Haha, thanks, looking at a lot of dirty monkeys for my reference.
Vahe: Whoa! Thank you!
Viktor: Thanks!
Marco: Yeah, hopefully I made something convincing enough that looks like it *could* exist, but interesting enough that I'm not just re-creating reality.
Randy: Thanks! More coming!
Albert: YESSSSSSS!!!!
D: Thanks!
Alex: You're a pimp.
Bryan: Thanks, I had a great teacher ;)
Josh: Haha, thank you!
Sebastian: Dude, thanks -- means a lot coming from you.
Can you give me the name of this weird and terrifying creature? It is the first time I see it! It is truly a powerful killer! I am really impressed by your art work. You did spend a lot of effort and time on completing it!

Very impressive work!.. just one question
How is this monster going to eat? I think the poor animal will suffer starvation since his big teeth are blocking him the way to eat something!
Jep.. Totally fucking awesome. Pardon me French.
Cheers
Jamie
